Our Objectives
To preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage of the Indian community by providing a platform to participate in religious, cultural and social activities, events, and celebrations. Our aim is to foster a sense of belonging and connection among the Indian community members, and promote cross-cultural understanding and awareness among the wider community. The objective of the New Indo Canadian Centre is to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone is welcome to participate, regardless of their background or ethnicity.

Our History
Seeing a need for energetic, nonprofit work in this area, Gujarati Mandal of Calgary and Calgary Indo Canadian Centre Association jointly acquired a property in 1994 on Edmonton Trail NE Calgary to provide sensible and affordable rental solutions for our community and the general public. We've consistently grown since then, all thanks to the helping hands of our amazing community! We are proud to have acquired another property, Bays 5,6,7,8 1916A 30th Ave NE Calgary in August 2023, which will cater to broader needs of both our community and the general public.

We focus on making the maximum positive effort for our community and the general public. Our members and volunteers provide the momentum that helps us affect change.
