    ENTIRE CENTRE

    Total Rented Area 8,185 sf ($240/Hour for 4 Hours on Weekdays, $255/Hour for 8 Hours on Weekends)

    Entire Centre is Approx. 8,185 SF. When the Entire Centre is booked, following spaces are available for exclusive use: Hall 1 with stage, Hall 1 Mezzanine, Hall 2 with warming kitchenette, Commercial kitchen, Coat/Shoe Room and Meeting Room Suite.


    Maximum approved capacity for the entire facility is 537 Persons.


    Main Hall 1 is approx. 3,150 SF that can hold a gathering of up to 260 people theatre seating and approx. 220 people banquet seating with 6 person 30"x72" rectangular tables  or 8 person 60" round tables. Permanent Stage 12' x 32'. Main Hall 1 Mezzanine is approx. 1,140 SF for approx. 80 banquet seating overlooking Hall 1 with two single washrooms. 


    Hall 2 is approx. 1,110 SF with approx. 102 theatre seating, 102 banquet seating (30"x72" 6 seat rectangular tables) or 90 banquet seating (8 seat 60" round tables). Residential warming kitchen complete with range, sink and microwave oven.


    Commercial Kitchen with 2 large pot stoves, 1 x 4 burner stove and oven, large fridge and freeze, a microwave oven, prep sink, 3 sink pot wash and a hand wash sink and lots of stainless steel counter space.


    Meeting Room Suite on Second Floor has a breakout space with a kitchen and 2 meeting rooms with a capacity of 6-8 each equipped with a board room tables, chairs and white boards.


    Reception/Coat/Shoe Room is included in the rental complete with coat racks, shoe racks, and a bar with sink and fridge.


    A 10% administration fee will be charged for cancellations 1 month before scheduled booking, 20% within 1 month, 50% within 1 week and 100%within 48 hours of scheduled booking.

    1. 10% Discount for charities and religious programs
    2. 10% discount for 8 hour or more rental per day
    3. 10% Discount for multi continous days rental
    4. 10% Discount for 10 or more rentals paid in advance
    5. 30% Discount - Maximum combined discount


    Any approved discount will be credited back to the credit card on file approximately 2 weeks after the rental date.     All this is included in the rental fee:

    1. A 12 hour rental comes with full 24 hour rental access
    2. 2 Hours free setup and takedown for 8 hours or more rental (provided there are no rentals prior to or after your event)
    3. 1 Hour free (provided there are no rentals prior to or after your event) setup and takedown for 4 hours or more rental
    4. Tables and Chairs included in rental. Linen, Decorations, etc. by renter
    5. Coat/Shoe Room and a reception with sink and fridge
    6. Takedown and cleaning of tables and chairs
    7. Garbage removal from premises. Organic garbage must be bagged and tied
    8. Premises cleaning after rental
    9. Hall 1 Complimentary Music System with 2 Speakers, 2 Monitors, 2 Mikes, Manual Mixer
    10. Hall 2 Complimentary Music System with 2 Speakers, 1 Mike
    11. 1 x Central Projector in Hall 1. Screen not provided
    12. 2 x Side Projectors in Hall 1 with remote and 2 x Overhead Screens
    13. Hall 1 with Electric Podium with reading light
    14. Hall 2 with Regular Podium


    We offer following additional services:

    1. $499 10' high x 16'5' wide LED screen on stage in Hall 1
    2. $350 for Furniture Setup
    3. Hourly Security Fee - May be chargeable for events over 250 persons.


    Penalties for Non-Compliance:

    1. $100 Penalty - Lights left on upon exit
    2. $150 Penalty - Overloading electrical breakers, removing/relocating equipment/cables
    3. $250 Penalty - Unauthorized Garbage Disposal in neighbours bins
    4. $350 Penalty - Organics left on furniture and floor. All organics must be in tied bags
    5. $500 Penalty - Improper Garbage Disposal in garbage enclosure
    6. $750 Penalty - Unauthorized use of LED Screen
    7. $1,000 Penalty - Exterior Doors left unlocked or open upon exit
    8. Overage Charges rental charge per hour plus 10% administration fee


    Special Attention required for Garbage:

    1. All food must be picked up from tables, chairs and floor
    2. All organic garbage must be placed in bags, tied and left in the Hall
    3. Organic, recycling and general garbage must be separated in bags


    Garbage disposed in outside bins:

    1. Garbage must be disposed in appropriate bins in the garbage enclosure
    2. Close enclosure door to avoid damage to passing vehicles
    3. Garbage spilled on enclosure floor must be picked up


    Fire Ritual (Havan) Guidelines: 

    1. $150 Havan Charge (per kund)
    2. Pre-approval required
    3. Refer to fire size and equipment requirements
    4. Fire safety measures must be followed
    5. Fire watch and monitoring will be required
    6. Ventilation and clean up must be maintained
    7. Renter must provide liability coverage

    All renters must maintain event insurance coverage. By accepting this rental, the Renter confirms they will obtain and maintain the required coverage and assumes full responsibility for any damages arising from the event. The policy must provide a minimum of $2,000,000 Commercial General Liability (CGL) and must name New Indo Canadian Centre (NICC) as an Additional Insured. A valid Certificate of Insurance must be provided to NICC no later than three (3) days prior to the event. Following are some insurance options:

    PARKING RESTRICTIONS

    Note that there are limited available parking stalls on the property as per parking plan below. 32 Stalls are designated for New Indo Canadian Centre (NICC) use and an additional 30 stalls have been permitted by neighbouring businesses for use on weekday evenings and during weekends. Please park on green and yellow marked stalls only. Cars parked in any other unmarked stalls may be ticketed and/or towed. Additional curbside parking is available on 30th Avenue.

    Rental Period includes the event and standard setup/takedown time as described in these Terms. Any additional setup/takedown time must be booked in advance. Early access or late departure without prior approval may result in charges.

    All garbage must be sorted into organic, recycling, and general waste in securely tied bags and placed in designated areas only. Refer to rules for dumping in common bins outside. Penalty for dumping in unauthorized Garbage bins.
