Support the New Indo-Canadian Centre (NICC) through our AGLC-licensed online progressive raffle, delivered and administered electronically by Charity Online Raffle.

The raffle runs from January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026, or ends earlier if tickets sell out (maximum $20,000 in total ticket sales).

NICC was purchased in 2023 and since then management and volunteers have worked to strengthen revenues through rentals, programs, and donations. Operating expenses continue to exceed income, and this raffle is being conducted in 2026 to help supplement the Centre’s ongoing costs and keep NICC sustainable for the community.

Ticket Options:

• Series A: 1 for $10
• Series B: 4 for $25
• Series C: 10 for $50
• Series D: 25 for $100

How it works (Progressive Draws):

• Monthly electronic draws will be conducted at the end of each month from January to December 2026 by Charity Online Raffle.
• All tickets sold up to each month-end are eligible for that month’s draw.
• Buy early to maximize chances: tickets purchased in January can be eligible for up to 12 draws.

Prize Allocation:

• 20% of each month’s ticket sales will be awarded to that month’s winner.
• 30% of total ticket sales will be allocated to the final grand prize draw.

Early sell-out rule: If all tickets are sold out before December, the raffle will conclude at the end of the sell-out month and the final draw will be conducted at that time.

• Raffle tickets are available for purchase online and shall not be sold to a person under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. Should the name of a minor be placed on the winning ticket, the prize(s) will not be awarded until the conditions of the Public Trustee Act are met.
• Draw will take place on the location, date and time as per the raffle details. All ticket stubs will be placed into a rotating drum and one ticket will be drawn for each prize and the winner’s information recorded.  RNG (Random Number Generator) will only be used to select the winning ticket(s) if the local raffle regulatory board has approved the RNG system prior to the start date of the raffle.
• To be eligible for the raffle draw, payment must be received on or before the sale end date and time as per the raffle details.
• Prize(s) must be accepted as awarded.
• Winner(s) will be notified by phone within 7 days of being drawn. If a winner cannot be located by phone, they will be notified by registered mail within 30 days of the winning ticket being drawn.
• If the winner cannot be located within 365 days of the winning ticket being drawn, an application will be made to local raffle regulatory board to have the prize awarded to the organization conducting the raffle.
• All tickets are final.
• Winner(s) name(s) will be made available to the public no later than 48 hours after the final draw by website or upon request.
• In the event a winning ticket stub has more than one name on it, the prize shall be awarded to only one of the individuals identified on the ticket. The organization conducting the raffle or the local raffle regulatory board are not responsible for any disputes which may arise between the different individuals whose names appear on the ticket stub.
• Any questions or concerns shall be directed to the organization conducting the raffle.
•  Prize(s) will be awarded directly by the organization.

• Online raffle: This is an online raffle administered through Charity Online Raffle. All draws will be conducted electronically.
• Eligibility for monthly draws: Each ticket remains eligible for all monthly draws from the month of purchase through December 2026, provided the raffle has not ended early due to sell-out.
• Monthly draw cut-off: Tickets purchased up to 12:00 p.m. (local time) on the last day of each month are included in that month’s draw.
• Sell-out / early end: If the maximum $20,000 in ticket sales is reached before December 31, 2026, the raffle will end at the end of that sell-out month and the final draw will be conducted at that time.
• Prize calculations: Monthly prize amounts are calculated as 20% of that month’s ticket sales. The final grand prize is calculated as 30% of total ticket sales for the raffle period (or up to the sell-out month if ended early).
• Winner notification: Winners will be contacted using the name, email, and/or phone number provided at checkout. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure contact information is accurate.
• Proof of purchase: The email receipt serves as confirmation of purchase. Participants should retain their receipt for their records.
• Disputes / integrity: In the event of any discrepancy, the electronic records and draw results administered through Charity Online Raffle will be considered the official record, subject to AGLC rules and the organizer’s procedures.
